Plumaria. A pretty plant or small tree often planted in the garden out in front of the house  in the Cape Region and other parts of Mexico. This is early summer on a hot hillside somewhere along highway 1 a little before El Triunfo. In Hawaii, the flowers from a close plumaria relative are turned into leis.
