Lomboy branches. Somewhere north and inland from Todos Santos in mid-August. The summer rains have  started and the plant is making leaves and pretty, small red flowers. A few weeks after the rains more or less stop in November it goes back to being bare branches and stays that way until another storm rolls through, doing this as many as several times a year.
