Chinampo cattle were originally brought from Spain and have since matured into a very tough kind of cow (cattle). This mild and seemingly innocuous looking beast can chomp its way through almost anything (for better or for worse because of vegetation damage) including at least some (maybe all!) species of the dreaded cholla cactus.
